Aladdin is an American musical fantasy film and is a live action adaptation of Disney’s 1992 animated film of the same name, which is based on the eponymous tale from One Thousand and One Nights. directed by Guy Ritchie, who co-wrote the screenplay with John August and starring Mena Massoud, Naomi Scott, and Will Smith. The film was produced by Walt Disney Pictures.
Aladdin is lovable guttersnipe who meets Princess Jasmine; the beautiful daughter of the sultan of Agrabah. Determined to win the Princess’ heart, he had a deal with the evil sorcerer,Jafar to get an oil lamp from a cave. Lots of circumstances happened, Aladdin became friends with the Genie who was unleashed from the lamp, and soon ventured into a mission to stop Jafar from conquering Agrabah.

Aladdin 2019 Review
The movie is about a lovable street thief, Aladdin,who came across a beautiful unknown woman who turned out to be Princess Jasmine–the daughter of the sultan of Agrabah. After they part ways, Aladdin decided to come to the palace not knowing that Jasmine was a princess. He was seized by Jafar, an evil magic sorcerer. Aladdin made a deal with Jafar where he would get an oil lamp in a cave and become a rich man who would win Princess Jasmine’s heart. A lot happened and Aladdin became the “master” of the Genie instead of Jafar,and they soon ventured in a mission to stop Jafar from conquering Agrabah and marrying Jasmine.
The movie is colorful,upbeat,exciting and a fun movie for families to enjoy. The chemistry within the actors are visible. The musical performance and the playfulness of Will Smith with Mena Massoud was the part that made the movie more exciting and fun. The movie showed that you should be yourself, don’t try to be someone you are not, It also showed that you should BELIEVE IN YOURSELF, don’t let what others say about you bring you down, you’re more than that, like a wise man once said, “love yourself, love myself, peace!” I went to see this movie with an unbaised view since I have not watched the original animated film yet I still was able to enjoy the movie.
